We want to introduce you to the inspiration for our work: the lobster.
The crustacean we like so much, we added it to our name.
Lobsters are a perfect representation of the work we do. These clever ocean dwellers grow their entire lives — but their shells don’t grow with them. Sooner or later, it’s time for a new shell. But instead of discarding the old one and claiming a new one, they start from scratch.
It’s a painful, vulnerable process that’s full of risk. As lobsters hide in the dark among the rocks, they’re defenceless until their old shell moults and their new one grows.
Once fully formed, they return to the ocean as a new version of themselves. The same, and yet entirely different. And this isn’t something they do once, but almost two dozen times before they’re fully grown.
Like the lobster, our clients come to us as they prepare for the next big step in their lives — whether that’s embarking on an entrepreneurial journey or taking their business to the next level. While discomfort is the catalyst for growth, doing so alongside our team of experts provides time and space dedicated to processing that growth together.
So shedding your old shell? It’s not that scary. It’s the start of something bigger, something new.

How we got started
Lobster Coaching was founded in 2019 by Alessandro De Giacomo, a senior certified and EMCC-accredited coaching practitioner. Coaching profoundly transformed Alessandro’s life personally and professionally — helping him overcome burnout, navigate uncertainty, and build his business. After years of diverse coaching work across the EU and the UK dating back to 2016, Alessandro started Lobster Coaching to help independent, growth-minded entrepreneurs gain mindful clarity and find balance in their lives and success in their businesses.
Today, Lobster Coaching proudly serves and supports change-makers and entrepreneurial souls as they unleash their full potential and pursue holistic success.
